Privacy policy
Roomsy is operated by Loud Skies LLC. This policy explains the information Roomsy handles, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information Roomsy handles
Account and identity information. Roomsy supports Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google. Roomsy receives a verified provider account identifier and may receive or ask you for a display name. Google sign-in requests basic identity information only; Roomsy does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or your Google Photos library. Roomsy does not receive your Apple or Google password. Apple and Google identities are separate Roomsy accounts and are not automatically linked by email.
Home and collaboration content. Roomsy stores information you submit or create, including home and room names, room photographs, prompts, generated directions, design preferences, decisions, rejected ideas, memberships, invitations, and comments. People you invite to a home can see the shared home content and contributor information available to their role.
Purchases and subscription status. If you buy Roomsy Pro through Apple, Roomsy receives Apple-signed transaction and subscription information needed to confirm the product, associate it with the Roomsy account used for the purchase, provide the subscription, restore access, prevent duplicate or conflicting claims, and respond to renewals, billing-retry or grace states, expiration, refunds, and revocation. Roomsy does not receive your full payment-card number.
AI usage and operational information. Roomsy records each account's AI allowance, whether a requested direction consumed or returned a credit, and provider-call facts such as date, provider, model, purpose, completion state, token counts, image-output count, price-catalog version, and estimated provider cost. These records support allowance enforcement, reliability, customer support, abuse prevention, and internal cost reconciliation. The cost report does not contain prompts, images, provider responses, or signed Apple purchase evidence.
Roomsy also uses an app session credential stored in iOS Keychain and stores a hash of that credential on the server. Hosting providers process network and operational information needed to deliver and protect the service. Loud Skies receives information you include when contacting support.
How Roomsy uses information
Roomsy uses information to authenticate accounts; provide and secure home, collaboration, billing, and AI features; preserve room context and user choices; process requested designs; enforce per-account allowances and rate limits; restore purchases; investigate failures; prevent abuse; reconcile provider costs; delete accounts; and respond to support requests.
The current Roomsy app has no feature, SDK, or provider integration for selling personal information or serving targeted advertising. It does not display third-party advertising and does not include a cross-app advertising or tracking SDK. Roomsy does not use home content, photographs, prompts, comments, or purchase history to target advertisements.
AI processing and service providers
When you ask Roomsy to analyze a room photograph or create a direction, Roomsy sends the selected image, your instructions, and relevant saved room context to Google's Gemini API. A text-processing step may prepare the image request. Google processes that material to return the requested analysis or design. Do not upload sensitive documents, unlawful content, or material you do not have permission to use.
Roomsy uses Supabase for database and private-file infrastructure and Railway for application hosting. Apple and Google process their respective sign-in flows, and Apple processes App Store purchases, subscription management, and refund requests. Those providers handle information under their own terms and privacy notices. Roomsy does not claim that a provider never retains, reviews, or uses submitted material beyond returning a result; provider practices are governed by the applicable provider agreement and configuration.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Roomsy keeps account and home content while the account is active and as needed to provide the service. Signing out, uninstalling the app, disconnecting a Google account, or removing an item from one screen does not by itself delete the Roomsy account or cancel an Apple subscription.
You can delete your Roomsy account from Account in the app. Account deletion removes the account, owned homes, private media, active entitlement and allowance state, sessions, and memberships. Content attributable to you in a home owned by someone else is removed or de-identified as required by the shared-home data model.
Roomsy retains limited Apple transaction, notification-idempotency, AI usage, and provider-cost records when needed for financial reconciliation, refunds, fraud prevention, security, and reliable event processing. When the Roomsy account is deleted, retained records are detached from or anonymized from the deleted user and cannot recreate the account or its entitlement. Operational logs and backups may persist for limited provider-managed periods before they are overwritten or deleted.
Deleting a Roomsy account does not cancel billing through Apple. Manage or cancel the subscription in Apple's subscription settings. Refund eligibility and refund decisions are handled by Apple through Apple's refund process.
Security and choices
Roomsy uses verified provider sign-in, account- and home-scoped authorization, private media storage, protected session storage, server-side purchase verification, and restricted operator access. No system can guarantee complete security.
You can choose which photographs and prompts to submit, grant or withdraw AI processing consent in Account, leave shared homes where the app permits, manage the Apple subscription through Apple, sign out, or delete the Roomsy account.
Children and changes
Roomsy is not directed to children under 13, and Loud Skies does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us.
Loud Skies may update this policy as Roomsy changes. A revised policy will show a new effective date, and Roomsy will provide additional notice when required.
